Gareth & Laura arrived in the Burnley area in September 2006 and are now in their sixth year of ministry at Wheatley Lane. They have one son, Joseph who was born in September 2010 and is a continuing source of joy and tiredness simultaneously! While Gareth engages in paid ministry, Laura gives the majority of her time to caring and looking after Joseph, but is also involved in various parts of the life of the church, working with toddlers and teenagers. 

Gareth's focuses his ministry around leadership & preaching and over the last few years the church has seen a number of changes and has grown in number. He also works in the local Methodist school and has responsibilities at Hapton Methodist Church & school as well as the school at Wellfield.
